I came across Kayla Itsines and her BBG community on Instagram. Everyone was so lovely, supportive and encouraging I knew I had to join this community of women who were constantly empowering and lifting each other up. I decided to purchase Kayla Itsines Bikini body guide and that was the best decision I ever made! I needed a set plan to follow so I knew what to do and also to keep me on track. I also needed a workout plan that I could do at home. (preferably while my kids slept) There was no way I was joining a gym at that stage. Too costly, no confidence and the thought of getting the kids ready to go to the gym was just to much of a mission, I simply couldn’t be bothered.
I BEGAN THE FIRST BBG WORKOUT
I began the first BBG workout. I was so unfit and it was sooo freaking hard! I remember not even getting through the first 10minutes of it and I was in tears because I felt like I just couldn’t do it so I started power walking every day, pushing my girls in the pram for 45mins to help with my cardio fitness. I started the workout and when it got too hard or I was out of breath I stopped. It was so discouraging but I wasn’t going to throw the towel in this time! (I had given up so many times in the past, I was not giving up this time) Each circuit I made it my goal to do a little more than the time before and it was okay that I couldn’t do a whole workout or I went slower than the average person. I hadn’t done any exercise for the past couple years so I didn’t expect to cheer through it. It was soo hard but I knew if I just kept trying i would eventually be able to do it.
