To Be Consistent Requires Commitment

If you’re looking to improve anything in your life being consistent is the key to reaching your goals. There are heaps of ways to keep you focused on your goals. You can create vision boards, write yourself daily encouragements or share your progress publicly. The biggest thing to remember is that YOUR GOALS ARE WORTH WORKING ON!


In order to really stay on track towards what you want you need to keep focused on your WHY. You need to have a clear vision of what you want and what you want to achieve and why you want to achieve it. Write it down. Make a list of why you want to change your lifestyle. This gives you clear goals to focus on. It will help keep you motivated and focused. 


Its not easy being consistent, and chances are you’ll fall off track occasionally but just remember the feeling of reaching your goals. Remember how proud and excited you were when you reached your first goal. You know.. those post workout feels. You will feel amazing that when you push through and keep going. 

Success isn’t always about greatness. It’s about consistency. Consistent hard work leads to success. Greatness will come. Dwayne Johnson

Schedule your priority and make it non-negotiable, build your life around your goal rather than trying to fit it in. Ignore that voice in your head that says I don’t feel like it or I’m to busy etc. That voice isn’t going to get you anywhere. I hear that voice all the time no matter how much I love what I do. Sometimes I don’t feel like working out or going to work that’s why you need to train yourself to be consistent, learn to be disciplined. Whether it’s an afternoon walk, or a set day to meal prep, make them a part of your routine. 


Forget the all or nothing mind set. If you eat something that wasn’t on the cards don’t worry about it just keep going and be mindful of what you’re consuming. And If you miss a workout, don’t stress there is always tomorrow. Its okay to fall off the wagon. We all do at some point, but the main thing is to get yourself back on it. Learn from your mistakes and use that to make it easier to achieve what you want. Commit to yourself that you will keep working towards your goals. 


 Being consistent requires courage and commitment.
